Dr. Prashanth Prabhu P is working as an Assistant Professor in Audiology at All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore. He completed my Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D in Audiology from All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore. His research areas have focused on assessment and rehabilitation of auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder, tinnitus, auditory processing disorders and hidden hearing loss/cochlear synaptopathy. He has published more than 60 articles as author and co-author in reputed peer reviewed National and International journals. He is currently serving as an Academic Editor for the prestigious PLOS ONE journal. He is also the Assistant Editor in Journal of All India Institute of Speech and Hearing. He has authored eight book chapters and has served as a reviewer for several reputed International journals. He has completed specialized course on audiologist delivered cognitive behavioral therapy for tinnitus, hyperacusis and misophonia. He has also served as resource person at several workshops, seminars and conferences.
