Dr. P. Jawahar Antony is an Assistant Professor in Audiology. He is a Member of Implantable Hearing device Unit, Department of Audiology and a Member in Centre for hearing Impairment in children, adults and senior citizens, Centre of Excellence at the institute. He has done his Bachelors in Speech and Hearing, Masters in Audiology at AIISH, Mysuru. He has received his Doctorate in Audiology from University of Mysuru.
His doctoral thesis compared the stream segregation in individuals with normal hearing and hearing impairment using amplitude modulated signals. His current research majorly focuses on the outcomes of cochlear implants in children.
